So It's been a while since I've bleached my hair and it's all very confusing. In a few weeks I'm going to bleach it to then dye it orangey red about 2 weeks later. I don't want it to go bright yellow, but I don't want it white either. What strength bleach would you recommend for me and what bleach is the best?

it all depends on the condition and color of your hair to start with. i never feel 100% comfortable advising people on bleaching their own hair at home -- simply because everyone's hair is totally different based on starting points and how it will react to the bleach. your best bet is to go into a salon have a professional bleach it for you first, then you can go home and do the orange/red color yourself.
