I agree with Danielle it's for their parents to worry about.

This is really bad.. This is a topic for the girl who's wearing makeup and her parents to worry about. This is getting ridiculous.

Haha Courtney I know it's crazy.
No need to be rude Danielle, everyone has their own opinion and can talk about whatever they please.

Well, maybe I shouldn't say ridiculous. But it's offensive to young girls who use makeup as a hobby (like me) and not using it to look older and what not.

This entire post is rude, so I honestly don't care if you think I'm rude. Just stating my opinion and all, you know.

This topic isn't meant to be offensive, it's to point out how we've noticed people are starting to wear makeup at a younger age. No one is calling anyone ugly or a horrible person for doing so. I think people are just saying that it's fine to experiment but it's started to become more of a way of life instead of a hobby for many younger people. We're pointing out how times have changed from when we were younger, we're not trying to bash people.

Lol I'm just saying that there's a difference in stating your opinion and stating your opinion in a demeaning way to make others feel bad. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, no one is trying to put others down, that's not what this topic is about. I'm sure we can all talk to each other nicely.

"I feel bad for their skin. They're going to look 50 when they're 25."
Nopeeeee, not bashing on anyone, right?

Society and media portray it as being normal to wear that much makeup.

I didn't bash or put down anyone. I said it wasn't any of your business what they do, and it seriously isn't. When you all have kids you can decide when they wear make up.

And if the worst thing your kids do is put on a shit ton of make up when they're 13, you should be thankful. I know kids that age and younger who are having sex, smoking, smoking pot, doing heavy drugs, and the list goes on and on. Make up is definitely the least of my concerns for todays youth.

I agree with Danielle. Gosh just leave them alone! Why do you guys even care if they wear make up or not? Its their decision. I really can't understand why you ladies care so much if its not you? Leave them alone.

I'm out of high school and I don't think it's right for such young girls to wear so much makeup. they don't realize how bad it is for their face.

No offense but this is a stupid post!! Who cares if kids wear make up its not your kid is it? Not only that but there is a lot more shit in the world to worry and complain about rather then kids wearing make up in sixth grade. I actually find this quiet offensive I wore a full face when I was in sixth grade and you can thank my mom for that one. EVERYONE comes from different places and were raised didferently. just because you were raised or werent allowed to doesn't make it wrong. So who are you to say it is? There is way worse things they could be getting into such as Sex drugs alcohol the list goes on. I'd rather see my child getting into make up then that.

Lol this is just getting funny. everyone has there own opinion and everyone needs to chill. we aren't here talking about sex and alcohol. some people can argue that doing those things isn't a big deal. so who cares, everyone has an opinion and no one is right or wrong. there is no need to all get pissy with each other. I'm sorry if I came off as rude its not my intention, things are way misinterpreted.

Oh btw I'm 21 And like I said wore it I and I don't look like I'm 50 I get told I look way younger then I am. Same with my mom her sister my grandma. Makeup isn't that bad for your face to do such a drastic change it's all the other crap people do growing up

Thank you Tori. In my opinion it isn't bad to wear make up when you're in 6th grade. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but this topic has gotten soo old. Not just here but everywhere. Just let them be.

Well you guys totally bashed on younger kids who do and were quiet rude about it. So if you didn't want it to elevate this far you shouldn't have been so rude and harsh there isn't really any other way to take some of things that were said. But your right everyone has thee own opinions which is why topics like this are so touchy

Cause litttle girls want too be grown to fast.. and I feel in my opinion younger girls now are into worse things than before and they act real sluty

I wore a FULL face (primers, shadows, brows, lip liner, everything) in 7th grade. I'm a senior in high school now and of course, I still wear a full face everyday. Big deal?!?! I honestly would let me 14 year old daughter, if I had one, wear make up. Looking like a hooker is one thing, but having the freedom to make your face up is another. Life goes on.

I think make up is almost the last thing to blame for girls acting slutty.

It's ok though, they'll regret wanting to be older when they're older. Bahahah.

I will be going into the 9th grade and all I usually wear is a bb cream concealer mascara and lip gloss. I think girls shouldn't be allowed to wear anything other than lip gloss until jr. high.

This thread completely became hilarious. You guys need to relax. You know y'all can have a proper debate rather than bashing on each other's opinions right?

I don't agree at all. wearing makeup is something that can make you feel more confident or it can be a way to express your self and learn new things about yourself. I started wearing makeup in 6th grade and by the time I was in 7th grade I would wear a full face of makeup at least once a week. I'm glad I started out wearing makeup at such a young age because even though I made lots if mistakes with my makeup and it didn't look too good I got to learn from that and I would much rather see a 11-13 year old running around with some messed up makeup on than see some 17 year old who doesn't know how to do her makeup.
