My hair is long, semi-thick n all basically one length. I need help coming up with ideas on how to style it to make it look like it has some volume cuz it's really just weighed down n lifeless :-( The ONLY way I wear my hair is "the Snooki poof". Lol I've worn my hair like this for about 10+ years cuz I HATE my hair flat against my head. Any ideas would b appreciated! Styling? Volumizing products that work great for long hair? Anything?? ;-)

I know..that would b the most obvious right?? Haha HOWEVER, my fiance LOVES long hair n it took me forever to grow it this long. Unfortunately, this is where the problem comes in. :-( I'm sorry, I should've thrown that in there before.

Try curling your hair, if you have a mid-part move it an inch-and-a-half either direction, and do a side-sweep.
Hope that helped!

Try long layers to give some volume to your hair. Maybe angle it around your face, And big curls or beach waves, use sea salt spray. Highlights with a caramel, or a couple shades lights than what you have will give your hair dimension.

Also I braiding you hair running a flat iron over it let it cool and take out the braids. Or let the braids stay over night and undo in the am=)

Cole is right. Long layers add movement and volume without sacrificing length.

Thanks Cole :-) I just bought some sea salt spray today actually, and I'm praying that it'll do something! Love the braid idea too. Maybe I'll try that tonight!
