I always liked nose rings. Especially a little stud. If you have one how long did it take to heal? Also I'm 20 years old not sure if I should get it now. And I'm also very active working out and soccer not sure how sweat will effect it. Opinions and advice please!

With your shape nose it would look perfect! I play sports too not on a team and work out but I gain garuntee that sweat won't effect it. although my advice is if you wear foundation its easier to put it on around your nose with a sponge than a brush. and if you get some in the top of it all you do is push it a little bit out from the inside of your nose to clean with a qtip and water.

Definitely stud. And thanks Kelsey. I usually use a sponge. I think I'm concerned because I pierced my belly button in high school and it did not go well.

I got mine pierced when I turned 19. I'm 26 now & still wear it lol. I've never had any problems with it other then when it was healing. It took mine about a year before I could leave the ring out for a few days. It closed up almost instantly when I tried switching jewelry and so forth. After a year of healing I haven't had any issues with it. And sweat won't bother it as long as you keep it cleaned regularly. I think you would look cute!(:

Mine took around a two months but its because I have oily skin that I kept getting a bubble next to it I believe because I kept getting make up near the whole (using a brush). but don't try to take out yourself if it is infected go back to the place and they will first check it out

Hey girl! I had a nose ring for a looong time. I recently took it out, like you I'm a soccer player and I was always getting called out by the refs for not taping it! (whoops) not sure if rules are different for you but if they are the same make sure to tape it! other than that a little stud would look super adorable on you! I loved mine amd never had any trouble with it.

I got mine pierced about 8 or 9 months ago (at 18 years old) and it's about healed. I haven't left it out for any length of time because I don't want to chance it closing up. It wasn't too painful. But I definitely did cry since it was my nose lol I had some problems at first but that's because I have really sensitive skin. Keep makeup away from the piercing for as long as possible. Always clean the area after you do your makeup so that way there isn't any sitting in your piercing. I cleaned mine about 3-4 times a day depending on how much makeup I wore and how active I was for the day. Now I just wash it when I wash my face in the morning and night. You should get it!!

Oh. I also got one of those bubble things...ny advice is to leave it alone! Don't pick at it or take your jewelry out. Simply keep cleaning it and maybe apply a little alcohol to it to dry the bubble up.

Thanks Erin! Yea I would have to tape it lol.

Thanks Rachel! Yea when I pierced my tragus I used to clean it about 3 times a day.

But be careful because you don't want to dry out the overall piercing. Btw I meant 19 not 18. lol.

I would guess the tragus and the nose are very similar when it comes to aftercare. You should be fine(:

I got mine when I was 20 and I'm 21 now and its still not healed. I get the bubble as well and it hurts and its ugly but I guess it has to do with the make up and sweat and don't touch it with dirty hands!! But I clean it with tea tree oil so its okay now. I love having my stud I'm not a hoop girl lol.

I have a little stud and it healed in 3 months. Now it's perfectly healed despite how often I've changed it recently. It would look cute in you and it doesn't hurt to have done. Go for it!

Rachel I've heard cleaning it with alcohol is very bad. Tea tree oil is better. You'd think alcohol was a good option but I guess that's what they say!

Thank you Megan! And rew tree oil? I never heard of that I thought it was just dial soap. I'll have to look into that.

I got my nose ring in August and it doesn't bother me. Except when I'm washing my face and pull it out on accident lol. And honestly I didn't use any cleansers either I just used warm sea salt water and a q-tip like twice a day and it healed up. Studs are cute but I think hoops are more eye catching. I can't wear a hoop because of work though. :(

It takes about 6 months to full heal I have had one for about 2 years now.
