Hi! So I am pretty new to the makeup world and everything in it. I've recently become more and more interested and I want to try to use fun-colored eye shadows! Like oranges or purples, etc.! I just don't know what to wear with it? Does my outfit even matter at all?

Personally I like to try to match my eye makeup with my outfit. Like if I'm wearing pastels I try to wear and outfit with pastels in the color of my eye makeup. Lol I also do the same thing with fragrances. If I'm wearing a floral outfit I'll wear a floral perfume, or if I'm wearing orange I'll wearing something citrus smelling (weird right?).
But I have a couple newer tutorials with some fun colors (blues, and some pastel looks) on my blog.

It doesn't have to match, but if that is easier then go for it! I like wearing bright colors on my eyes with more subdued clothing, as if my eyes are the accessories. :)

Most of my wardrobe tends to be blacks and whites so I brighten myself up with bright makeup and bright colored hair. It doesn't always have to match. I would just keep everything in the same undertone family. Cool, warm, or neutral. That's when it looks clashy.

Purples are a great way to branch in to color! and so are coral colors. outfit matters, but it doesn't need to match! blues can be tricky, but wine colors, and light sparkly colors are good too!

It doesn't have to match your outfit but sometimes when I wear bright colored eyeshadow, I like to wear something that compliments the color. Like, for example, if I'm wearing a vibrant purple eyeshadow, maybe I'd wear some yellow clothing. But hey, there aren't any rules, do what you think looks good! :)
