Do I put it on before or after my moisturizer?? Or just use it by itself?

You need to make sure it's unrefined, extra virgin coconut oil. It will give your body the most nutrients...both inside and out. (If your going to cook with it too.)

Its a moisturizer itself :) so no need for an extra. & yeah like mia taryn b. Said it has to be unrefined. I forgot to mentiom thay.

It depends if the dark spots are left over from the healing of a pimple or caused by sun damage or hormonal change. The former can be lightened through chemical (or light manual) exfoliation over time, but the latter will need special chemical ingredients as they are deeper in the skin tissue.

Exfoliating ingredients: glycolic acid, lactic acid, retinoids
Skin lightening ingredients: hydroquinone
Moisturisers such as oils will help to make scars less visible as the skin cell turnover happens naturally I think

Yeah, I can't vouch for it as I only use exfoliates for acne scars. So if you're thinking skin lightening products I'd do some research on it.
