Olive oil doesn't make it grow it just moisturizes it really good so you hair doesn't break and it seem like you hair isn't growing. And look braid also helps protect from UV rays so either one could help in the long run.

Don't do anything to it! no flat irons etc, easy on the brushing too. hair grows at a steady rate but it snaps off when treated badly so you think its not growing.

Try not to burn your hair and put it up in a tight pony tail or braid when you sleep. if your hair doesn't get oily fast try washing your hair every other day and cut the tips of your hair every 2 to 3 months hope this helps (:

Avoid heat (flat irons curling irons..ect.) avoid tying it to tight. try a cold pressed organic coconut and virgin olive oil. You should get like a teensy trim first (if you have split ends so once its longer it looks fresh of needed) trimming won't make it grow thats a myth js (:

This is what I do! Every other day when I get out of the shower I mix a quarter size of a nice moisturizing leave in conditioner (I use AG fast food leave in!) and a half pump of coconut oil (I use organix coconut milk!) then work it through my damp hair, making sure to get the roots! It leaves my hair feeling so soft and helps it grow!!

Take care of your hair. Use oils to keep hair from spliting, hair masks also stimulate growth-oil rich on the scalp and massage your scalp daily and let blood rush to your scalp everyday! lol also taking hair nails and skin vitamins help! good luck.

Try taking a vitamin called Biotin. It's available pretty much at every drug store and its only like $10. Make sure your getting 5000mcgs in one pill, you can find that information on the back.
Also avoid using heat and wash it every second day.
My hair grew 3/4 of an inch in one month. It's worth a try. (Biotin also raises metabolism)
Hope I could help. Xoxo

Do not use heat. My hair has grown so much because I don't use heat Anymore because I have gym and I have to put my hair up. And if you do want to do styles like curling your hair, do it like overnight. That's what I do!!

Braiding your hair helps it grow.
