Do you straighten your hair regularly?

Overprocessing/Styling your hair will make that happen around your hairline. The only way to combat it is to not do it as often. Going natural doesn't hurt sometimes.(: Make sure you have a deep conditioning treatment weekly & avoid washing your hair everyday. It will take a while but your hair should look better and see growth in a few weeks.

There's alway vaseline to stick it down in the meantime. Patience is definitely called for, but what seems like forever now will seems like a blink of your eye 5 years from now. :-)

They're called "baby hair", don't worry! pretty much everyone's having them:) they will grow out, just try to avoid any heat/chemicals:)

Michelle Phan even has them. I wouldn't worry. Agree with avoiding over processing or pulling the hair tightly.

It can also happen from pulling the hair in a tight ponytail or other 'do for too long.

Lol I thought so. I actually came upon this problem a couple years back. I rarely flat iron my hair anymore, only on the specialist of occasions & its super healthy now.
