I have oily skin! What products helps reduce oily skin but doesn't make your skin dry either?
Thanks

I have very oily skin also. Acnefree products work well for me. You can get kits or just the face wash in stores. It keeps my skin balanced and I don't always wear the best stuff.

I have super oily skin, like using 3 or 4 blotting papers oily. My routine used to be moisturizer, primer, liquid foundation and/or powder then concealer. Recently I watched this youtube vid about combating oily skin and the person who made the video said that if you have oily skin and can't find the right oil free creams and powders just skip the primer! primer essentially creates an extra layer of oil on my skin and makes it worse. I've searched like crazy for oil free Everything and my face is still crazy oily at the end of the day. since I've stopped using primer, I've noticed a huge reduction in the oilness of my face. be aware though that you might have to amp up your cleansing routine to make up for not using primer since primer is essentially a barrier.

Try milk of magnesia as a primer, it sucks the oil out of your face before you put on your foundation :)

Primer doesn't necessarily create a barrier of oil. A lot of them are silicone based, and I find that in general, products heavy in silicone will make my skin produce a ton of oil...the worst are the ones that have a very prominent "slip" to them. Dimethicone is the most common I've seen, but I'm pretty sure if it ends with "-cone" it's probably a silicone.
One thing I would make sure is that you're not under-moisturizing, since that will cause oiliness as well. I like Murad Oil Control Mattifier...it's quite pricey, but has been one of the best at keeping my skin less oily...I still need to blot like 3-4 times a day, but it's not too bad if I blot regularly! So, carrying around napkins will come in handy!
I've never tried the milk of magnesia thing, but I hear it works wonders!!

I use a toner made of half apple cider viniger and half water... since then my face pretty much acts like I have normal skin and not oily... I usually have ridiculously oily skin needed blotting like every hour after putting on make up and I only wear mineral powder make up.

Nicole guerriero on youtube uses an oil to moisturize her skin because it tricks your skin into producing less oil...thats what she said anyway...
