I need help my oldest daughter is really trying to get into skin hygiene and not sure what products are good for her she is 10 and wants to use a lot of what I do and I feel like it is to hard for her skin. I have been looking up you tube videos for her to learn a little of what she needs and wants to do for her own routine but have had no luck and been doing it for 3 days. If you have any info or know of any videos I can show her I would be very thankful:)

Washing her face and applying moisturizer afterwards is the best skin care routine for her age right now. Cetaphil's cleanser and moisturizer is safe for sensitive and gentle skin. I believe some of their moisturizers have spf which is a plus. And that's all she needs! :)

Thank you Lolli thats why she wants to start, I mean I know its more then that like she wants to feel like she is doing everything she can to stay with beautiful skin because she has been bullied a lot by peers and young family members about her weight which she is not big and I tell her all the time, she is like 12 pounds over weight and I have involved the dr. nutritionist all that I can but I feel she is getting better about all her weight but now wants to move on to her skin cause I do it all the time and tell her why I do it she wants to start.

Thank you Anmol she does that but she want to face masks and all that stuff so I was trying to find videos for her to know she only has to take care of washing and moisturizing.

Ruth Crilly, amodelrecommends on YouTube, has a nice video about products for teen skin - perhaps could take out anything from that that she might not need?

If she would like to try face masks, you could make some diy natural ones at home?

My daughter is 11 and loves makeup and skincare products. I think that she see's me using all these things and she wants to do the same. Murad has a CLEAN SCENE line geared for young girls and boys that we have tried. It was a bit too much for my daughter because she doesn't have any major skin issues. It would be perfect for someone who is showing signs of early acne. Another one to try is the Mario Badescu line. These products are made with all natural ingredients and I are super cleansing and gentle on the face. They are also not highly priced. You can even get online on his site and take a skin consultation and they will send you samples of the products that are matched for your skin. www.mariobadescu.com Click on skin consultation. Make sure you enter your information correctly because they will send you an email to click on to confirm that you want the samples sent to you. They will not send samples unless you confirm that email. Lastly if you are looking for some YouTube videos my daughter watches beautyliciousinsider and MacBarbie07. These girls are teenagers and they have a lot of information to give on skin care and beauty routines. I hope this helps!!

I see what you mean! That's great she wants to do more. You can always make homemade masks and scrubs, since you know what's going in them and also because they're all natural products.

I would recommend cetiphil as well. Make sure she is using at least a 30 sunscreen everyday! Also I see no harm buying her the odd face mask. My sister and I use to bond over the odd face mask, pretty sure we did a peeling cucumber mask that was so fun and made your eyes water while you peeled (I'd never use one now, but no harm when your young!)
