So I've bleached my hair many times sadly, since I am obsessed with changing my hair color. I have naturally black hair so I already know what a pain in the ass bleaching black hair is. My question is does not washing your hair a day or two before dying/ bleaching really make a difference? I'm going to do an ombre look but instead of blonde ombre I'm dying it lavender. Any tips or tricks to make it as blonde as possible would help. Usually I have to bleach it 3 times to make it "yellowish"...

Shinning slivers shampoo works and honestly best bleech that processes fast is called blue diamond and I use 40 volume procixe depending on the type hair you have you don't wanna fry it off or you can also you weeks process and bleech wash it by sttiping the black befire going blonde:).. Why don't you try color blocking your bangs or peekaboos with platinum?

I just wanted to the ends of my hair, because if it gets terrible and starts falling off I won't care since it's the ends of my hair, I can just get a trim to remove it. I've bleached my roots before and my hair was so dry and dead, I can't do that anymore.
