I had super long hair when I was younger but back when I was around 13/14 I chopped it up! I'm now 15 and trying super hard to get it to grow to its original lengthy! It's now below my breast but want it to below my ribs before school let's out for summer? Any ideas or special remedies?

I straighten my hair once a week! But I take really hot showers, could that be the problem?

Taking really hot showers is never ideal try shorter, cooler showers if you can! The heat can dry out skin and hair thus creating less healthy hair and scalp. Anyway, from a gal who has hair down to her booty I recommend adding 100% castor oil to your shampoo once a week and massaging well into scalp. And then shampoo again to rid hair of a slighty greasy look. I'm not sure about

The mechanism of how this works but castor oil stimulates hair growth and elasticity immensely! I'm not joking! Do some searching online n see the reviews yourself :) I use it on my lashes and it makes them grow like crazy!

Also invest in a brush that detangles (as that reduces breakage) and stimulates/massages the scalp. Hope this helps!
