I bleached my hair twice and then used Ion Color Brilliance Magenta, but it was too light. I then used Revlon HiLights Dark Hair Only Magenta and it looked much better and my roots have held, but it's faded quite a lot. My Sally's Beauty Supply suggested the second Magenta. I know it's been through a lot in a short time. I'm thinking because of all the dyeing is why it won't keep the color?
Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Get a semi permanent with no ammonia or peroxide (I use la riche directions) and mix some in with your conditioner. I mix it about half and half and use it whenever my hair looks abit faded, works really well =] or mix in less and use it as you would normal conditioner. It does dye you shower/bath slightly though lol.

It's because reds and Pinks have larger molecules that are more difficult to get into the hair. It will always be a problem. I'm a hairdresser and the only thing that helped mine was a colour stay shampoo. But I am still colouring my pink hair every 3 weeks. Try using dry shampoo instead aswel. Hope this helps :)

Red hair color fades the quickest the best thing to do is to have it done professionally and then use the vivid red shampoo and conditioner from Sally's. It has henna in it, so each time you shampoo your hair it refreshes your color. I used that and it worked well.
