An anyone help me? If I get an unnatural (or really any color) in my hair and get in the pool, the chlorine strips the color. Is it only me? Does anyone know why it happens or how to stop it? I have naturally soft light blonde hair. THANKS SOOOO MUCH!!

Wear a swim cap :) I think that's the only way to prevent you hair from being stripped of color.

I tried that, I don't know what happened, I think it just came off.

Try pinning it with bobby pins.

Use a leave in in conditioner before you get in the pool will prevent it

Just don't wet your hair and if you do, put conditioner and water in a spray bottle and squirt it in your hair. There is also certain shampoo that helps with chlorine build up!

Don't put your hair in the water. No matter what color my hair is the chlorine always makes the color have a green cast to it and it feels rough. If you must, then you're supposed to wet your hair in the shower first.

I swim every day in summer. If it's your own pool...you can tone down the chemicals. I put mine up in s bun when I swim and have some fun retro caps.
