They are worth it! It's pretty painfall (7/10) to begin with but you eventually get used to it and it doesn't hurt!

I had a emjoi epilator and I loved!! When I turned it on for the first time I was scared. I thought it was going to peel my skin off. lol. It took me to build up the courage 2 hrs later. Once I started I was addicted. So on a pain scale for me was a 4 out of 10. Good luck Lexis. :)

I have an emjoi one too. It's pretty good. It's better to invest in a more expensive one, they work better. And it hurts!(6/10) but you do get used to it. I love being able to see the hair... (I am a weirdo)

I have an emjoi as well, got it at Sally's. I'd say the pain would be similar to getting a tattoo for me at first, pretty painful, but tolerable. But now that I've had it for a while and been using it, it's gotten a lot less painful and I couldn't imagine going back to razors! Get past those first few painful times and you won't regret it :)

@Joyce T. An epilator or "electric tweezers" is a handheld device that removes your body hair using a coil, similar to waxing.
I've been looking into this too, so I'm glad to see suggestions. :)
