Hey guys. I used tea tree which is too drying. And aveeno. And new from lush and kertian shampoo from loreal. But I seem to have an itchy scalp the 2nd day after wash. I do oil my hair too. After I itchy lots. There will be some flakes. So is it build up or dry scalp. Either way what should I do to get rid of it. Thanks.

Maybe youre using too many products? try giving it a good wash and don't add anything extra. if you can't fix the problem, see a dermatologist.

Hey hun I have the same issue. I'm allergic to something/having a reaction to something in normal and even most natural shampoos. I use a product called Moo Goo. All natural no silicones parabens or sulfates which is most likely the cause. Its an australian company but you might get it where you are. Look on ebay or try their website (try googling Moo Goo australia). I promise you your scalp won't itch!!

Thanks for the advice guys. I don't use any product on my hair. Just wash and put very little oil in the ends. That's it. My hair is falling because of scratching. Can't help it.

Try clean scalp I believe it's called. It's the shampoo from Heidi Klum it worked wonders for me. I also do a hair mask with vinegar, olive oil and an egg which helped. I did try a baby oil mask but you have to shampoo your hair a few times to get all the oil out.

Try this dark brown shampoo called t-gel. I wanna say neutrogena makes it but not 100% sure. The smell is really strong ad mediciney but it works really well. If you use a conditioner afterwards it helps mask the smell.

The more chemicals you put on your scalp the worse it might get. you need some thing soft and natural. Gl.

The dry scalp could be caused by stress, try hydrating shampoos and conditioners.

I have that problem too. I currently started out with Bed Head Moisture Maniac which took care of the itchy scalp. For the flakes I'm using Selsun Blue ( the one with aloe) which de-flakes & moisturizes at the same time. If shampoos don't work, you can always try hair masks (I'm positive there's several recipes in the Editorial section). Hope this helps!
