The kat von d foundation is pretty heavy and thick. If you decide to buy the kat von D make sure to test it first because the lighter shades tend to be way to white. I prefer tarte and stila stay all day liquid foundation. I like stila because it last all day plus it comes with a free foundation brush and concealer. I like tarte because it also stays on all day and blends really well.

A lot of foundations are really good at sephora. But to find the best that is for you, you need to try them out and decide what you want from it. Like full/medium/light coverage. Matte/natural/dewy finish. Etc. Just because some people love a certain foundation doesn't mean you will too.

A lot are good benefit oxygen$36 I like for during the day. nars sheer glow$44- this I would say is like medum coverage I like this for day times I want a little more. kat von d $34- full coverage I like it for night time. ysl $55- I use mostly day time I love how it feels on the skin. laura mercier $42- full coverage night time again super thick a lil goes a long way tarte$38-full coverage another one I like for night time. Naked urban decay $39-I found this one the hardest to match to my color I don't know y tho its light to medium. Josie maran matchmaster $42- comes off oragey at first and then adjust to your skin I was goin to return it but after a lil while it looked better. bobbi brown $47 full coverage I like for night looked a lil cakey in my opinion maybe with a beauty blender it would even out better. Dior forever $47- my go to day time foundation this and the chanel mat lumiere :) hope this helps

Depending on your skin type and Coverage preference. Makeup forever HD is amazing, for normal - dry skin, it has flawless finish with a medium to full coverage so it's buildable. Nars is ok but it's very sheer, decent for normal to dry skin also. Kay von D has extreme full coverage. Great for most skin types. Tarte is great if you have sensitive skin. They have 2 different foundations. Amazonian clay 12hr is full coverage and great for normal skin. And then they have maracuja foundation that is medium to full coverage amazing for dry skin. Ask the consultant and they will let you know what's best for your skin type and concerns.
