Hello,

I just discovered eye permanent makeup. They can permantly tightline your eyes and tatooing every eyeliner shapes you want. I want your opinion because I think that having my upper lash roots line permantly tightline could be Nice maybe, even if I did not have plan to do it in any way!! And maybe? very very thin black or eyeliner line (without wing) on the upper lid.

It's really scary and risky from what I read and some tattoo artists refuse to do cosmetic makeup. You might have to sit on this one for a whole cuz it would be there for life. Which you know, but it's like any tattoo, you have to make sure it's something you'll still want 10 years from now.

I have heard that the color on some permanent makeup (like eyebrows for example) may fade over time.

I think it would really hurt and probably later you'll regret the style of eyeliner tattooed on your eyes. It's your choice but there's less opportunities that you wanna wear different style and not have your tight line lined. You kno? It's your eyes I'm not saying its bad just make wise choices in life. That could be one of your wise choices if you would like :) my oppinion

Makeup styles change too often. One season a thick wing is popular, next season it could be colored liner or something totally different. I wouldn't get makeup tattoo'd because you never know what the style will be and you don't want to look weird.

My mothers best friend has this done and she likes it. The only thing is if you wanna keep it you have to get it touched up every so many years, otherwise it fades. It's be easy to cover up though if you wanted something different, just use a primer and eyeshadow. I'd suggest only doing a thin line though and then if you want a thicker line or wing draw it on yourself =] great time saver though haha.

It's expensive even the touch ups are and they fade and go bluey also once you done it your stuck with it I think it's much cheaper and better to just apply eyeliner then you can choose how you want it and try different styles. I know a few people who have done it and regret it soo much and it doesn't look nice

I personally love tattoos, but would never do this.

I've heard of this and it's your decision. Makeup easily goes out of style and that's personally why I wouldn't do it. Also, since it's in the eye area you will have to get it touched up ever few years because it will fade.

I got my eyebrows tattoed about 2 years ago. It hurt a lot & I didnt go bk to get touched up. However I still like them, I just fill them in a little. I agree with Megan maybe start with a thin line and if you want thicker or wing draw it on. Good luck (:

That's a really big risk because tattoos cause cause infection and especially to you eye lids or you could change your mind but with only a lash line there's not much to mess up on there are still risks you should really consider the possibilities

I wouldn't do it...my aunt had it done and it looked scary! And now it's starting to look green eww! Her lips still look nice though very natural looking pink color.

I wouldn't do it, personally due to the risks.
They are putting a tattoo needle on your eye!! One slip and your eye is ruined. Anywhere else I wouldn't think there was an issue, as long as the fading and price was okay with you,
But I wouldn't risk your eyes that heavily.

The thing to remember is that trends change, so in ten years you may not like it anymore. Add on the risk factor that someone is putting a sharp needle close to your eye probably isn't the best idea. BUT if you decide you really want to get it done, do plenty of research and find opinions from people who have gotten it done, that way you can make an informed choice you are confident about :-)

Also, no one has mentioned that if you are ever in an extremely bad accident and you need an MRI performed to possibly save your brain from damage, trauma, or the maximum effect of a head injury, you will not be able to. The alloys in the permanent make-up tattooing agents are so metallic that the same electromagnet that would read your brain would also rip your tattooed eyelids right off of your face. Everything is risky.
