I use milk instead of cinnamon. I find that cinnamon is a bit harsh in my sensitive skin.

Cinnamon is an irritant and can cause some really severe burns/reactions on some people. I wouldn't recommend using it on your face just for safety's sake. (If you lick the wrapper of Big Red gum and stick it to your forehead, you'll know how irritating cinnamon can be... It's horrible!)
