Aveeno lotion, I too had bad dry skin until I used Aveeno, it doesn't cost much and moisturizes your face and body without irrataion. Try it out!:)

Eucerin daily protection facial moisturizer is my go to!! I use it every day before I put on makeup, and it's relatively cheap! Also, it has protective SPF in it which is always good if you have a lighter complexion like me!

To make my skin soft and ready for makeup in the morning I use Spectro jel moisturizer for combo skin.

the main thing though is the night before, I apply macademia nut oil before the spectro jel moisturizer. Not only did it balance my skin perfectly, but any acne I had is gone. My skin can handle pretty much all makeup without looking cakey and my skin glows. (: The foundation I normally use coupled with this moisturizing routine is Maybelline Fit Me and sometimes L‘oreal Magic Souffle. (: Good luck
