Macademia nut oil is similar to the stuff your skin produced as a child, making it soft, supple and full. Before you apply your moisturizer at night time, apply macademia nut oil first. it‘ll soak in and help soften your skin making the acne scars less visible and after a while brighten your skin.
I can definitely say it works. I had terrible acne and a super greasy face that was covered in scars. my acne is gone, my skin is balanced and non greasy and the acne scars I had are barely visible. (: I buy the oil in large vials from Walmart for like $2.50 (:

I found lemon juice didn‘t do much for my skin, barely reduced my scars even after using it weeks. the key is to moisturize!
