I try to do a clean upper liq liner line. And almost every time, one eye line is thicker than the other and I look like I have a wonky eye. Any tips?

I agree with Em. Use a pencil liner first! This will guide you when laying on your liquid.

I've found that you definitely need a steady hand more than anything. But I agree with the suggestion above!

Try applying tape to your outer corner. Your angles will be more similar.

I have been doing liquid for years and what always helped me was using a wet qtip to fix it.

Use an small angled brush with a light brown eye shadow first..Its easier to correct. Once your happy with the result go over it with the liquid liner.

Hi Rosie. I just started to learn to do my upper lashes with eyeliner (I'm 41). I always just did the black pencil on the waterline...quick and easy. This straight line, steady hand thing is hard...lol. Ill post the link to the video I used to learn. its helped a lot!! I just do tiny strokes at a time, then build up the line. Takes time but like I said I'm just learning. Oh and the vid is great but I don't do the wing part yet. Just the basics to accentuate.

For the eye that is thicker... go back and correct with concealor. or just make the other eye thicker if you like.. but practicing a steady hand is going to give the best result!
