What is the purpose of this strange little thing?? My foundations been looking a little to makeup-y if you know what I mean and this beauty blender was suggested to me.

It blends out your foundation to make it look more natural.
It's amazing it's completely worth trying! It's an egg shaped sponge :)

It's a makeup sponge... if you feel like your makeup is looking cakey... get a beauty blender or something similar for cheaper, dampen it... make sure all excessive water is squeezed out and apply your foundation (liquid) by using the wider end to stipple the foundation or use a bounce motion to dab it on... and the pointy side for around your nose or under the eye. will look flawless every time! ;)
