What do I do about my dark armpits?

I have to shave my armpits daily because of the thick hair that grows. I've noticed over time my armpit begun to darken, what is the best thing to do?

I heard waxing your armpits help but I could get through a session it's very painful!

The same thing happened to me and it was due to shaving. The blade actually reacts with my skin to cause a reaction which in turn makes it darker! What I did was get my underarms lasered and I don't have one single hair down there...and I got them lasered almost 2 years ago! ;)

I had that problem and I got an Epilator. It was painful at first, but I am SO glad I sucked it up and finished! I epilated my armpits two weeks ago and my hair is still gone and my armpits are not dark anymore! A few days later I got brave and epilated my legs! This was also pretty painful but just like my armpits, it has been SO worth it! I haven't had to worry about shaving every day or covering up my legs! I am so glad I purchased it and suffered through the first epilating session lol. I heard the first time hurts the worst and it gets better each time after that, it's definitely something to check into :)
