Creases UNDER my eye, is this normal?

Anything I put on it ( concealer, foundation, highlighter, etc.) Just makes it worse. It really is a horrible look, anybody have any suggestions?

I have the same problem. I use powder to set the concealer and push the powder into my skin with my powder brush rather than lightly dusting it on. I was told by an artist that you can't completely avoid it but you could try using an eye primer underneath the eye before applying concealer. I think setting it really well with a powder is most important.

I was recently told to use an eye cream that treats lines bc it will fill in those lines before you apply any makeup.. Something worth attempting, especially if you can get your hands on a sample size

Hi Jamie,

You may want to avoid using a primer under the eye completely (around the orbital bone should be fine but not any closer). The skin under the eye is so thin and delicate that using something that heavy could cause what's called Millia (the small white bumps you sometimes see under the eye area or on the lid).

Carly A. is dead on with a setting powder after using concealer. You can use a synthetic concealer brush to tap it in and "fill in" the fine lines. Bobbi Brown actually has a concealer duo that has one side full coverage concealer and the other side a yellow toned (corrects dark circles) setting powder.

Agreed with Alicia P. but maybe putting some under eye serum whenever you're not wearing makeup, especially when sleeping. Or an undereye firming cream, it's just a suggestion, not trying to offend. I even put firming cream before my makeup.

Product suggestions: Clinique Anti-gravity eyelift cream, or drugstore brands- Yes to Blueberries Age Refresh eye firming treatment (I've also heard good things about Garnier under eye products). Concealer- Smashbox HD concealer. Eye primer: Urban Decay Eden eye primer.

The smashbox hydrating under eye primer works wonders for me when I apply my concealer over. No smudges or creasing all day.

I have the same problem, and using the Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel (weird, I know but it WORKS) as a primer helps take that away, this is a complete dupe of Smashbox's photo finish primer line and has the same ingredients as it except this one is around $8 but it seriously will make your skin silky smooth and you won't get those lines at all. My skin is really dry and it seems to make it look worse when I just use concealer and powder without a primer because it settles in my lines and creases way worse...also try using a different concealers until you find one you like- because all of the popular ones that everyone else loves, don't work for me at all! the concealer I use under my eyes that doesn't crease is NYXs concealer in a jar, and MAC's concealer pot they're both thick and good coverage but don't look cakey or crease with or without setting powder (which if you have dry skin under your eyes like me, powder can make it look worse) but I hope you find something that works for you!! :)

I have creases underneath my eyes. It's normal.
Powder always helps. I'm definitely going to try the Monistat gel, however.
