So at work in our secret Santa I (luckily) got someone who loves makeup! We have a $30 limit so it's kind of hard to find a good quality gift for that price.

The only things I thought of so far are:
-a kylie lipkit
-Carli bybel palette however I wouldn't know what to pair with it being that's only $15!

Any ideas?! What would you love to get?!

Found this on Ulta.com. you could pair it with some Christmas candy or an inexpensive one time mask pouch

I like that! I like how you get multiple shades. I've never tried the melted lipsticks from too faced. How are they?

I would get one of the sample sets from sephora. They have several different prices, some are 25$ though. But that way they can test out stuff and the likelihood of them not liking the formula or already having it are less. :) but I would start paying attention to what they wear on a daily basis, if there's lipstick everyday than a lipstick set is great but if it's the same color or left clean then it's not as great lol.

I like the set kim posted you get diffedent colors, I don't have that set but I have boughten alit of the full size one and the formula is great its not budge proof or transfer proof but there super comfortable, creamy and very pigmented , I think she would like them if shes ok with not having a transfer proof lipstick.

I always try to gift something that doesn't invest all of my hopes in that their tastes are singular across the board. If you gift something with a variety of different items, even if they don't care for a formula or have a reaction, for example, the gift isn't a total loss.

I think Ulta is a win win because you can earn points for yourself while gifting and they always have a coupon code. That is a cute lip set Kim posted. I tend to favor non-transfer formulas so it wasn't my favorite, but I know a lot of people who enjoy it and love how creamy they are. The colors are certainly beautiful. A couple of ideas to bounce around...

Sometimes a singular scent of a product can spoil a gift set and so I would mix things up a little bit with items that offer some variety and flexibility while still being affordable. This Soap and Glory set has 3 scents and with winter or cooler weather approaching, moisturizing is a must for most of us. It's $18

Beyond Ulta, Walmart, Target...all of these chains have gift sets out right now that are a steal. That said, this liner set is shockingly fantastic (I napped in it without so much as a smudge) and comes with a wing stencil as a bonus. (You can find it being tested on Youtube) The double flick and Amy Winehouse-esque wing are especially cool, fast, and easy. It also includes simple wings and your classic cat eye, but the stencil aside, the liner performs as well as my Stila All Day Liner or Kat Von D and is under $5. I was quite shocked at how smooth, long lasting, and pigmented it is.

For fun, I have long thrown in McDonald's gift certificates.. Everyone loves them and they're great to toss in your car for a late night if you want a shake and fries and are short on change. They are also perfect for coffee or a parfait. I think they've gone the way of the gift card now. You should be able to grab one at any drive thru or online. The nice thing is it's reloadable if you want and the have a value menu. https://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/services/arch-card.html

A Wet Brush is a life saver for anyone's hair whether you use it to gentle detangle or want to reduce breakage. You can grab one for under $9 at any Beauty Supply or Chain Store.

You can always toss in a singular tube of the amazing Milani liquid lips as they only run about $7.99. The metallics are stunning for the holidays.

A Nivea lip butter tin is also a great, inexpensive way to beat the winter dryness.
They are about $2.99 I also love tossing in some Tic Tacs!

Hope that helps!
