Hi everyone! I had my hair done and I'm not happy with it. The photo shows what I wanted versus what I got. I wanted a very 'cool toned' colour, but it looks orange and just doesn't suit me. The photo doesn't make it look a lot more orange than it really is, but I'm still not comfortable with it! Anyone know what I should do? My hair is thin and I don't want to ruin it. Thankyou in advance! Xxx

Contact the salon!! Talk to their manager, they should fix it for free or at a discounted price...you could ask them to do an oplex (I think that's what it's called XD please correct me if I'm wrong!) which will help your hair not be so damaged :-)

Definitely go back and make sure you speak with the owner/manager, they should absolutely correct the work that was done at their own salon.

On the positive side - it isn't damaged at all 😊 haha.

Whoa. It looks like not only didn't she didn't lift enough...she didn't seem to tone. I love your optimism on that it isn't damaged! lol

I would contact the Salon manager and request that it be corrected by a Master Colorist; and at zero charge. I'm not certain, but I think they'll have to correct the color, tone, and I'd even go so far as to hit them up for a deep condition and gloss for your troubles. They may throw those in at no cost.

It's awkward when you're at the salon and you have to say "This isn't what I wanted", but that's your money, your body, and your time...and she should be professional. I'm sure they'll be kind about it if you keep a cool head and articulate your dissatisfaction. Don't mention you're gratefulness that it's not damaged...lol

Good luck, and don't wait!!

Omg that happened to me a few months ago. I was yes to go back to my natural color which is a brown like the one on the left and I left the salon with reddish hair and now it's kind of orange ish too. I just don't want to damage it anymore so I just left it alone to grow out.

I would ask them to fix it but ask for a different stylist, it's really surprising that she didn't tone at all which is, in my opinion, the most important step. On the bright side your hair doesn't look damaged, and toning is the most gentle chemical process I've ever done to my hair, ha!
