I am looking for a GOOD setting spray for my makeup so it doesn't come off throughout the day and keeps it in place, no more than $25-30. I have oily skin, but I don't want my face to look too matte from a setting spray. Any recommendations are appreciated! Thank you.

I love the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, the full size is $31 and the travel size is $15.

I like either Makeup Forever mist & fix or L'Oréal infallible!

I tried the Urban Decay DeSlick setting spray, but ended up returning it. Perhaps the All Nighter that Alexis suggested fares better, but it's sister did not do anything, for me at least.

There is very little difference in the formulations of UD sprays, which is odd.
I think NYX works nicely, I truly do and I love that they offer a variety of finishes. I own them all, as well as UD and MUFE, but the current favorite is Milani MAKE IT LAST 16 hr. setting spray. In my experience, it does the job equal to UD's setting spray...but, for less money. It was $9.99 and I had a coupon for the store, so I paid $4 for my bottle.

For those concerned, Milani doesn't test on animals and is 100% cruelty free/carries the Leaping Bunny Seal. Target, Walmart and Walgreens carry it, but you can find it online at a variety of stores, including the Milani Website.

Here's a pic, but I don't necessarily know what their 'priming' angle is....and it doesn't "correct", but it DOES set...beautifully. Bear in mind, these all contain high percentages of alcohol, so dry folks may want to watch how often they use setting sprays. I personally don't use this daily, but some people can without issue. (If you're dry, the MUFE may be your best choice.) They're all really like hairspray for the face, but some days we really need that seal. This seals and sells for just under $10.

Harjit, I agree on MAC Fix+; it's a fantastic product with a sprayer that is perfection....but I think Rhiannon is looking for something intended to "seal" and extend wear beyond what Fix+ would do for her.
For those who do love Fix+ for taking down powder or freshening up, I think Pixi did a great job with their Milky Mist for people who DO want a mist, but can't afford MAC or are looking for a Cruelty Free alternative. (I did put it in my MAC bottle because I prefer a finer mist). Fragrance is minimal, but a few of these items have a bit of a fragrance for those concerned. So that may be something you want to consider. It dissipates completely, but I thought I'd mention it.

You can also use your MAC bottle or any mist bottle and make your own via YouTube if you're really sensitive or are avoiding all fragrance and want something to refresh.

Hope that helps.

@Rozberry I found it! I didn't know you could go into your profile and find what threads you're following. I think I am going to try that Milani spray! Do they have that in the drug store? I know they sell that brand in the CVS drug store by me

No worries! I do hope you like it.
They have it in the drugstore by me, the Walgreens. CVS doesn't have it on their website and I see it's currently out of stock at many stores...so I hope they aren't discontinuing it...argh! I'm not sure if you'd be able to locate it there. You could always try. (I know Target still has it online.)

You can go to the website of whichever of those stores are in your area and do a search for the item. It should then ask you for your zipcode and will tell you which stores have it in stock with a 25 mile radius, and how many are in stock. That's how I found mind and it saves running around. I hope they don't discontinue it; they may be doing a reformulation for a 'summer'' release.

If all else fails, I do think the NYX performs nicely and they make 3 finishes, which are very accurate to description. That should be very easy to find. I hope you have good luck!
