I've never really liked using foundation because I've always felt as if it was too heavy and didn't give me the natural finish I want. My skin isn't too problematic, my main concerns are my under eye circles and uneven skin tone. I want something that'll give me a natural finish but still help me even out my skin more. I've been looking into BB creams but I don't know much about the coverage they offer.

A BB cream has light coverage while a CC cream has more medium coverage. If you feel you need more than just light coverage then go for a CC cream.

You could try BB cream, however I've never found a BB cream that stays on my skin for any longer than an hour (I don't even have oily skin)... or CC cream is great... I highly recommend Loreals CC creams - they have one for anti-redness, anti-fatigue, and anti-dullness... they come out of the tube in a different colour (e.g. Anti-redness is green) and once you rub it in it transforms into you skin tone... my favourite is the anti-redness as it just evens out my skin, looks nice alone or under makeup, stays on better than BB cream, and is a lot lighter than normal foundation 💕

There's BB cream, CC cream, Tinted moisturizer, light foundation or Powder foundation.

Tinted moisturizer is moisturizer with foundation. It's varies in coverage from very sheer to light medium and different formulas have different feeling as far as whether they feel lighter or heavier. I personally feel the more emollient types to be more heavy feeling.

BB/CC creams are similar to tinted moisturizer in the west. They tend to have more skincare ingredients compared to tinted moisturiser that tends to just moisturize and cover.
BB and CC creams tend to have more antioxidants, higher sunscreen, etc. Different brands have different coverage but they seem to be on the same basis as a tinted moisturizer as far as coverage. Again, I personally feel the more emollient types feel more heavy cause you can feel the oils or silicone just on top of your skin.

Light foundations. These are nice, like the MUFE face and body or the MAC face and body. Both are very water based, very light weight and doesn't look like makeup yet it can be layered and gives a not medium but light/medium coverage. It doesn't have the sunscreen and all that but these sound like they'd be the best bet as far as comfort and looking natural.

Powder foundations are good and feel more lightweight than liquids. The only downside is that if you use too much they can look heavy BUT if you're oily this is a better option as the others tend to feel heavier and aren't that great on oily skin

The IT cosmetics cc cream has become my HG product. I'm a foundation hoarder and have found myself grabbing the IT over all others!

Another alternative is to spot conceal where you need it, then set it with some light powder :)

You could use the foundation you already have with your moisturizer :)

You could use concealer. When I'm feeling lazy and don't want to put foundation on I just conceal.

On a daily basis, I don't use foundation. I conceal my under eyes, and spot conceal if needed. then I set it with a little bit of powder and voila!
