I ordered a metal palette from Make Up For Ever because I want to start getting into single shadows! With so many brands and colors to choose from I don't know where to start!

So what are your favorite single eyeshadows?

Brands and shade names are greatly appreciated!

I love Makeup Geek (I have Bitten, Burlesque, Goddess and Flamethrower) and I love them all, they're so pigmented and easily to blend, yet last all day. They're pretty cheap too

I love MUFE singles- you have to buy the empty 3 pan palette from Sephora and then it's buy 2, get one free. My faves are:

I keep them all in a magnetic palette.
I also like to pop the Viseart Theory shadows out of the cardboard packaging and put them in a magnetic palette. They have divets and pop out easily. I save the original package for travel. I have Cashmere, Minx, Nuance and Amethyst.

I really like MACs Amber Lights. That's like my HG/Everyday eyeshadow TBH. It's a more true gold rather than just a metallic yellow but I can see why it doesn't work for everyone. 22kt does lean a tad peach and can look orange on some.

"All that glitters" seems to work better for those with lighter complexions since its not so saturated and is more neutral but I don't feel it's as buttery as Amber lights.

"Expensive pink" is a nice pink with gold frost that isn't pinkeye-pink and can easily work for everyday.

Mixing all that glitters and expensive pink give a really nice true rose gold which is really pretty.
I basically like their frosty types of metal colors which can get a lot of use.

MUFE electric purple is quite nice, it's not as good as the original color before they reformulated it but it's still a nice purple nonetheless.

Alexis, I know they technically aren't singles, but the Inglot Quads that you can build yourself are SO lovely. Rich in pigment with a fantastic choice of both colors and finishes. I always get compliments when I wear them. You can find them here on Beautylish.
