I have ombré hair extensions but I am fully blonde now and they do not blend at all. I want to lighten the extensions but they were expensive so I don't want to ruin them. They are real human hair. The part I want to lighten is a light brown like a level 6-7. I want to make them at least level 8-9.

Who makes the extensions you have currently and do you know what the exact grade is of the hair of your extensions? Are they double drawn? Also, are they clip in or cold-fusion/micro-ring extensions?
Hopefully Shaye will see this. I'm pretty sure she's lifted extensions, but I don't remember the specifics. She's very good with such matters. I'll link you to her profile.

Hmmm...Foxy hair can be iffy, despite the high price, unfortunately. That increases the risk of ruining your extensions, and I'd hate for you to lose money and hair that you enjoy!
You can always test one section as a trial run, but lift is so hard on hair, let alone extensions. I'd definitely hit up Shaye's profile and see if she can help you out. She's so sweet and she'll be honest with you. I do remember her purchasing some and I believe lifting them, but I don't recall the brand. Hope it works out for you!

As long as they're 100 perfect human hair and you feel as though they're in good condition you can definitely lighten them, I wouldn't use anything more than a 20 vol on extensions though and really watch the time when you have bleach on them, I try to have it on my extensions as little time as possible so checking them is a good way to minimise time and damage to them, shampoo them well to get all the bleach out properly and deep condition them afterwards :) my extensions were dark purple and I lifted them to blonde easily and a light brown tends to lift fairly easily in comparison :)
