I've been liking the newer Burt's bees lip balms. They're more "natural" but are actually moisturizing compared to EOS or others I've tried

I am loving Burt's Bees. Chapstick is too drying. Nivea was meh, Carmex no better than Vasoline. Lipsmackers, not moisturizing enough. I am in North Dakota. I have also tried Jack Blacks- good, and Sugar (always breaks) and Anthony for Men from Sephora. But nothing has been as good as Burt's Bees, in my opinion.

Just a little info I was very relieved to learn when I did:
Many people don't know, but most lip balms we find in the store have an ingredient that actually makes you rely on it, no matter what it claims to do; I'm pretty sure it's the petrolatum, it's in most of them as the first ingredient. If you're looking for moisturizing or healing, these won't really do much but temporary relief, as the ingredient actually dries out your lips, and that's why it feels good to reapply. If you want long term health and maintenance for your lips, I suggest alternating between moisturizing and sealing products -- think shea butter for moisturizing, and then vaseline for sealing in that moisture, and keeping environment out. Chapstick and Blistex are big ones with petrolatum, but like I stated before, I still love them. I just alternate with better/more nutritional products and I have seen a major improvement :)
