I love NYX soft matte lip creams, Makeup Revolution salvation liquid lipsticks, MUA velvet matte liquid lipsticks and Limecrime Velvetines. They're all really long lasting on me and very pigmented. My lips are very prone to getting dry and they never dry my lips out at all, I really like them all!

I'm don't like or dislike the smlc. they are very comfy but they are like a squished up lipstick in a tube so it defeats the purpose for me. since finding liquids I don't really like regularly lipsticks anymore. in not a fan of the lingerie, I only have push up but it's dry, flakey, and the color goes on unevenly. I haven't tried macs.
I've tried a lot of indie brands for liquid lipsticks (and have a few more in the mail) and have been impressed, and disappointed, many times. I don't mind dry lips unless they start to peel, so even very matte liquids don't usually bother me. out of the brands I've tried my favorites in no particular order are lonely planet, Kat von d, ofra, makeup monsters, and dose of colors. they are all soft to touch when they dry down, last, either smell good or don't smell at all, have minimal to no transfer, don't bleed or crumble, layer well, and are opaque.
la splash has 3 or 4 different lines with different formulas each. the lip couture and the velvet lingerie are both good formulas and have a pleasant scent, especially the lingerie, but the others have a strong smell like sweet pea (which stinks to me) are very drying and bleed and the smitten lip tint ones are especially bad. colourpop is hit or miss depending on the color. some wear perfectly and some don't for me so even though I have frickin 15 of them I don't known how I really feel about them because of the inconsistency.

Gerard cosmetics is absolutely my favorite! It's comfy, has amazing colors, and stays on through eating and drinking (unless it's something greasy of course). NYX is okay but I feel like it's real messy and comes off easily. I do like the lingerie line though. The quality seems higher.

I also love Colourpop matte. Beautiful bold colors (also nice nudes) and comfy to wear. The color does transfer a little bit, but you can't tell from your lips. Bonus it's like $6/tube - great value imo.
