Maybelline color tattoo LE colors

ok so in the fall there was a LE color called barely beige that I didn't know exsisted until it was too late to get it in stores. So I have been hunting and obsessed to find it. Finally 3 months after I started looking I found a lovely girl on a swap site who hooked me up with this amazing color. I am so happy I found it.
Today I am in walgreens and see a Maybelline display with some new LE shades ofnthe color tattoo. What is that i see in the display??? A shade called barely branded and it is so almost identical to the barely beige that I would not have known the difference if I hadn't known better. I kinda feel like geesh. Just geesh. Oh the irony.
Just needed to rant on that to someone who would understand because my husband looked at me like i was speaking french.

I had the same problem. I hit the bottom of Barely Beige so I went to go buy the MAC paint pot in the same colour.
I found Barely Branded a week later.

I missed out on Barely Beige & was really upset but then I saw Barely Branded at Walgreens in a far down display & screamed!! It's the perfect colour & I REALLY hope it is gonna be part of the permanent collection because if I run out I will cry! It's the PERFECT base!

I noticed this too! I snagged Barely Beige when it first came out but realized Barely Branded is probably the same- just repackaged. And when I talk MU to my bf he gets this glazed over, I'm not listening, sort of look! :D

I'm so behind....I just snagged "fierce & tangy" and "edgy emerald" last night at Target. So to find out there is a comparable dupe to my MAC "bare study".....the hunt begins.lol

I lurve the color tattoos. I have 9 colors. I had a couple of coupons for maybelline from the paper so I went to my walgreens and bought the 3 they had in the display. Lol. I'm so bad. I plan to stash 1 for myself and save the rest for a month or so and then put them on my swal list when you can't find them.in the store anymore. See if I can't get something really good for them.

Fyi; barely beige has a slightly pinkish tint. Barely branded is a little more on the gold neutral side. But they are soooooo close.

From @Marcy J.'s photo it looks like the Barely branded is slightly warmer toned and barely beige is slightly cooler, but that's the only visible difference... And that sucks! I understand the want to rant about makeup problems, lol

I have both and love them equally- but I am rather obsessed with the color tattoos in general. I managed to grab up most of the Fall collection and 4/5 of the Metallic ones just launched. The only LE ones I wasn't interested in were the super bright ones because I didn't think I'd use them :]
