This is going to be LONG! So I went on the news to demonstrate proper use of glitter for Mardi Gras looks. (I'm in Louisiana, Mardi Gras obviously is huge here). The pic below is of me and my model, prior to me applying the glitter. She ran off after the segment so I didn't get a pic after I applied the glitter but it's easy and I'll tell you what I did. I'll tell you what I did for both our faces; Mardi Gras colors are green, purple and gold, so I wore green and I did purple on her. Ok so key points on my look: RCMA Foundation, Smashbox Contour Pencil, Senna cream blush from the neutrals palette, Mac Prep and Prime in Radiant Rose for my under eye area, Laura Mercier secret brightening powder to set the under eye, MUFE setting powder only in my T Zone. Eyes: I used two medium brown colors from the Viseart neutral matte palette, and the green is Anaconda from ABH Artist palette. Mac Nylon to highlight inner corner and below my brow. Inglot gel liner, lashes from BatlashCo. Lipstick is YSL #3 lined with Mac Spice.
Ok on her: RCMA foundation mixed with Embryolisse moisturizer because her skin was SO dry. Cream blush from Senna neutral palette, Nars concealer mixed with Mac Prep and Prime Radiant Rose under her eye. NO setting powder. NYX blush in Taupe for her contour, ABH dip brow in blonde, and her eyes: Cupcake from MUG in the crease, and Vanity from UD Vice Palette on her lids. Diorshow Iconic Mascara, Mac Mylon to highlight her inner corner and upper lid area. Lipstick is YSL #3 topped with ABH Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood.
Ok so, on the news segment I simply used UD glitter glue to apply purple glitter from Magnolia Makeup to her mobile lids. If someone can tell me if I'm allowed to post the link then I will! Then you all can see the segment. Ok that's it! All feedback welcome! Sorry so long!
