So I've always tried to highlight my undereyes and the high points of my face with a lighter concealer or a yellow or pink toned highlighting pen but once I blend it in and it sits for a second it just becomes the same color of my foundation. I've tried letting my foundation sit, I've tried countless products and powders but nothing keeps the highlight bright.

Have you tried baking? It keeps my highlight really bright, and I'm very very pale 😂 you put a ton of loose powder over your highlight, let it sit, then brush it off

I've tried baking with the airspun powder, the MUFE powder, the Laura Mercier powder and the brightening powder from Laura Mercier. And I have the Mac brightening pens in pink and yellow;(

Have you tried It cosmetics Hello light liquid brightener or Charlotte Tilbury brightening pen? They're illuminating radiance brighteners.

Instead of baking with translucent powder. try a yellow or pink powder. it will make the highlight ever more intense.

If I want a stronger highlight I use my Brightening Concealer Pen by Sephora. It's cheap, and gets the job done. I usually set it with a light dusting of a translucent powder, or my mineral veil by bareMinerals. Nothing to extreme... Just remember that your under eye area is meant to have a huge contrast to the other areas of your face regarding lightness, at least not if your going for a more natural look.
