They are all smaller and I don't know what each is to be used for so if someone could please tell me that would be fantastic

I don't know if I'm crazy or not, but those don't look like kubukis to me.

They all look like duo fiber stippling brushes to me, except the last one which looks like a foundation or concealer brush.

I usually use duo fiber brushes for cream blushes. Although, I do have the Real Techniques Duo Fiber contour brush that I use for "blending" contour but not applying it.

Well what do you call the little brushes lol because they came in a set with five kabuki brushes and they and they were smaller so I just assumed they were smaller kabuki brushes but I'm not really sure lol.

I see an ahhhhdorable dog, but nothing I'd personally call Kabuki, but I understand why you are calling them that as I often see advertised " 8 or 10 piece Kabuki sets"...labeled as Kabuki, that resemble yours, such as this Sigma set.

I would be interested in knowing why they are calling them Kabuki? I seriously know nothing about brushes, but the images Shaye and Ms. Jacqueline are what I have long considered Kabukis. So Kabuki is referring to the bristle style and there can be longer-handled Kabukis?
I need to take a class in brushes. The content you posted, Ms. Jacqueline, is a great start to understanding for me, so THANK YOU and thank you, Christie, for the thread. :)

They aren't kabuki brushes. I'm pretty sure I have the same set that you do but with black handles. Mine aren't kabuki but they work fabulously.

Oh my! That was insanely helpful and a spectacular read. Thank you so very much! I know quite a bit of the culture, but never knew a single thing regarding Kabuki theatre prep or tools. Truly delightful post, and I am grateful...ever so.
What would you call Christie's Brush set instead?

An add thread to favorites feature or bookmark would spare my phone storage from a plethora of Beautylish informative and helpful posts!

Its hard to tell my the picture, but since it's a face brush collection, one is probably a concealer buffing brush. But you don't have to use a brush for what its meant for. Utilize it for what your needs are. I use a fine-tip eyeliner brush to pinpoint concealer onto tiny discolorations and I use a tiny rounded eye brush to buff & blend the concealer so stays on the spot and doesn't spread out to far. Experiment with the brushes and eventually you'll find a use for them.
