Help, my nails break and it's showing my flesh which leaves my fingers sore. What can I do to prevent this from happening?

Since your nails are already sore from peeling put some vitamin e oil on them then rub it in and massage them really well. After you do that lock in the moisture by putting lotion on them. Do it at least 2 times a day more if possible. Then after a few days start using a nail strengthener. I like nail tec and nailteliques. Even though you will have a nail strengthener on your nails still use the vitamin e oil and lotion it will help.. Good luck..

Do you mean the tips are peeling or the actual big surface of the nail? The latter used to happen to me when I used to peel my nail polish off. when I realised that was the cause I stopped using nail polish for a couple of weeks and now never peel anything off anymore and it's completely fine now. If there isn't anything involved like nail polish I'd actually go and see a doctor about it, very weak nails can be a sign of a deficiency and also what you describe sounds so painful. :( good luck with getting that sorted!
