My mum got me this for my 21st and I don't even know what to do with it, I suck at eyeshadow but all these colours are so pretty so I'm determined to use it lol. Can you girls give me any pointers in general about eyeshadow application? I mean I use a transition colour but I always feel like eyeshadow doesn't enhance my eyes at all so I don't tend to use them. Also, these are super pigmented when I swatch them but I can't get the shimmer shades to look as iridescent on my lid, why? :(

The palette, it's the Chi Chi extravaganza face palette. (Australian brand) :)

I love warm gold shades! You can start slow with just a bit of a shimmery shade on your lid, or you can add to that by shading your upper lashline with a dark brown, then maybe another day you can slightly darken your crease. (I may have misinterpreted your question)

If you want the iridescent ones to look great on the lid you could try spraying your brush with a fixing spray and use them wet!

Oh well in that case the best tool you've got to pack on color is your finger in the meantime! It's better than you think for shimmers ;)
