So I've heard that you can go in to Sephora and get samples of products and wgat not so I was wondering how it works? do I just walk in and pick what I want a sample of? are they pre picked by Sephora? do you pay for them? how does it work?

Just go in, find the product you want to try and they will give you a generous sample at no cost!

The samples are free (there are sample sizes for sale but those are different) you can get three samples per visit (I've heard per week from some employees so I'm not 100% on that) of anything they can get into those sample jars. so liquid lipstick and pressed powders are mainly out but foundation and skincare and whatnot are all good. Sephora doesn't choose your samples either, you get to.

Sometimes they will have samples behind the cash wrap, because they're supposed to sample out to 50% of customers, but they're usually fragrance or generic skin care. It's always a best bet to ask one of the consultants to do up a sample for you.
