I have oily skin with large pores and acne about once a month. I have red acne scarring as well.
Can anyone give me a good skincare routine to help clear my skin and refine my pores? Thanks!

Girl you are not hideous at all I think you look absolutely stunning:) and to get rid of acne I got a clarisonic and I use lush herbalism with it and moisturize my face with coconut oil:)

I really recommend the tea tree toner from ULTA. I have similar skin to you and I use it all the time and my skin has gotten better ever since!

I had a lot of pores and acne as well until I started using Murad(acne & pore refining step 1 & 2) & it helped a lot! Specially with my oily skin. Who knows, might help for you as well☺️

I agree with Julia on investing in a Clarisonic, it's the best investment I've ever made for my skin. I have normal to oily skin (normal now because of the Clarisonic) and use the Beautiful Skin for Normal/Oily Skin line from No7. The moisturizers are mattifying and the toner is gentle but effective. I also use the Origins Checks & Balances Frothy Face Wash, which again is gentle but effective.

Also, I don't suggest coconut oil. For some people it works fine but for others it contributes to breakouts so I would just steer clear of it.

Thanks Alexis! I will be looking into a Clarisonic!

Herbalism by lush is specifically for or oily skin and the coconut oil puts fatty acids into your skin that makes your skin look healthy and gets rid of acne because it has acne clearing agents in it:)

Personally I thank coconut oil for clearing my acne because chlorine makes me break out and I'm a lifeguard so I used to get pretty intense acne quite often.
