Since I was about 12 I've always suffered with breakouts, sometimes my skin is okay and then there's weeks where I don't even like leaving the house because my spots are so bad! I have quite oily skin and I have tried so many different things to try and prevent them and stop them and nothing is working if anything most products just make my skin worse! at the minute my skin is awful and I really want to find something thats going to help??

I had the exact same problem. Biore charcoal cleanser really helped and now I have no acne except my monthly pimple. It's also made for oily skin. It's cheap and affordable.

What's your skincare routine and what products are you using?

Thankyou ivey, ill give it a try! I'm so skeptical about using new products though because if I see one bad review I daren't use it?? I'm currently not really using any products other than cleansing my face morning and night with an elemis facial cleanser as wanted to give my skin a break from all the harsher products that were irritating my spots and making them worse. But now I just really want to find something thats going to work because I've spent so much on other things that have been a waste! I've ordered a sacilyic chemical peel from bravoura london as I've read great things but just can't be sure its going to work!

Not having a proper skincare routine can also be effecting your skin. You should at least be cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. Also make sure you're cleaning your makeup brushes and changing your pillowcases regularly.

I do regularly clean my makeup brushes and change my sheets haha. I also do moisturise and usually have a skin care routine, but I know my skin best and it was so irriated so giving it a few days break can't make it any worse right now haha. Before I start using anything else I just wanted suggestions on good products, but thanks anyway!

This is really more of an investment but the clarisonic brushes are amazing. I have very oily and acne prone skin and my clarisonic has saved my skin, I use proactiv with mine. I recommend trying out something like that if not that. like I said it's more of an investment. I once went a few days without washing my face with it and my whole face broke out.

Sometimes I feel like a walking infomercial 😂😂 but I'd suggest you give Clinique a try. Not so sure about the anti-acne treatment, but the 3-phase system that consists on soap, clarifying lotion and moisturizer. Take the test they have online and see it for yourself. I'd suggest you go to (fill in the blank) the store and get free samples to try them before you buy anything. I really hope you can win the battle. I know the struggle ❤️

Yeah, I'm the same with the whole review thing. I'm always wondering if I chose the right thing lol Bc there's soooo many products out there! I'm an over analyzer. But yeah the biore was worth it. Hope my advice is a help!

Paula's Choice is the best brand on the market imo. Their customer service is top notch and they can recommend a full routine for you. Their return policy means you only keep it if you actually like it and I can't say enough good things about what it's done for me.
