What hairstyle would work?

So I finally had my graduation party dress made, and my party is this Sunday. I have an idea of how I am going to do my makeup, and I will be wearing my cowboy boots. I just have no idea how to do my hair!

I was thinking some type of updo, but I am worried about it coming loose. My party, while country themed, will have a lot of dancing, mainly to spanish music. I want my hair out of my face, but something that won't come undone after a few twirls. My hair is past my shoulders, but much longer. I will be having a friend who is a hairstylist do my hair, but if there is a tutorial it will be so much easier.

What do you ladies suggest? If possible, I would like something not too polished. Ideally something messy but still fancy.

I have a dress just like that! You could do a half-up hairdo and fancy it up a little, like add braids or something.
