Hey everyone! So it's been about 2 months since I first noticed that the sides of my hair burned off but it was so weird, it didn't burn off with the curling iron, but I think it was the nume straightener that I was using. But then I stopped and the other side of my hair burned off too. What could it be? Is my hair weak? It's just the side of my hair that's burning. Help please 😢

Probably like 2/3 days a week if I wash my hair but most of the time I just put my hair up for 2nd and 3rd day hair. I use to use the chi heat protector but I just recently got the tresemme like almost ago. In May I got a balage but the first side that burned off by my side burns was like in April. In the beginning of the year I use to use a shampoo that's called oxz? I think but I stopped using it because it has an ingredient that can cause cancer. No it's okay, I totally understand! And thank you so much for the help!

Are you positive the heat is not going too high for your hair?

Either the heat you're using is too high, or your hair is really dehydrated and isn't burning but instead is breaking off. Get a trim asap and do regular hot oil treatments!

Try and deep condition the sides of your hair to put moisture back into them so they don't break.

Over the weekend put conditioner in your hair, then put it in a braid (or bun). After 20 minutes take it out and wash your hair really good, let it air dry, and the next day you're hair is good as new. It works for me every time.

Sorry Ladies for barely responding. I got really busy with school and work 😔 yea I haven't touched my hair in like almost a week and I got the deep conditioner from garniar fruitese. I have really thick curly hair and I follow the heat temperatures on the package. My hair is completely dry before I style it lol. Thanks ladies so much for the help! ❤️
