Okay so I bleached my hair last night. it did not get all of my hair. a lot of my hair is dark brown to bright red. I need to fix it before Sunday that's my daughters bday. if I used a second box and focus on the parts that are not completely bleached or didn't get touched at all. do you think I should be fine? I haven't bleached my hair since I was 15 and I striped my old dyes out like 2 months ago and waited till now to touch it.

I'll be honest, the only time I bleached my hair it came out two different colors which affected the way the die stuck to it. Your best bet would be going to the professional so that they can get everything to match.

I don't think the other ladies are discounting the fact that you have coloured your own hair before, but regardless of how much you box dye your hair or someone else's, a professional is going to be able to even out the tone better and maintain the integrity of your hair better. Box dye or anything from Sally's is going to be either very damaging or not work as well as professional product. If there are still parts of your hair that are darker then you could certainly use another kit to get those pieces, and after they look like they match better you can add a bit of water and shampoo and lather it around to lighten the rest of it a little more too. The water and shampoo will dilute it making it less harsh on your hair. In my opinion you really do get what you pay for so personally I'll always suggest a professional. Not sure what you are looking for as an end result but it would be fine to tone after, not sure about a box dye deposit though, it might be a little harsh after all that bleach.
