Hey. so I've always heard that you cut false lashes on the longer tapered end to keep them looking natural. BUT what about lashes that taper and have short ends on both ends? how do you keep the effect of those?
also, what's your favorite product/method for cleaning falsies without damaging them?

They should still have one side that's a bit longer than the other. Easiest way to tell what side to cut would be to look at them in the package and put your tweezers on the outer corners before lifting them out. That way you don't get confused when you pick them up. I know my HOL bambie lashes are a bit like that and when I pull them out of the box I always have a little moment where I can't figure out which side is the inner corner. xD

But what do I do if I want to keep them so that I can't tell which side is the inner corner? like, I don't want to cut off the short outer end and make it so that they now have a longer tapered end. I really prefer that effect of longer lashes in the middle and usually get it with individuals but a full strip is just so much easier for me to work with...usually...lol.

I mean if the full strip fits your eye you won't have to cut it but if it doesn't the lashes will be extremely uncomfortable and will most likely lift up on you throughout the day. But if you buy individual lashes you would be able to create that effect, have it fit on your lid properly, and still be comfortable to wear. Not as quick to put on as a strip but it would work.

Worst comes to worst...keep the outer end longest even if you need to cut the tapered. you won't notice as much if you cut the outer vs the inner. personally, I don't reuse lashes. they will just never be the same. lashes in a box offers a pro discount. as well as beauty suppliers like naimies and frends if you are looking to save money on strip lashes. i take advantage of it frequently

So there's really no good solution here? it's either change the shape of the lashes in the process of making them short enough for the eye or go with individuals?

...I feel stupid. lol. cutting them in half seems SO obvious now but I would have never came to that conclusion. thanks to all of you for taking the time to help.
