I got this snap back from a thrift store to add to my collection, but I actually don't know what it means... I think it says "ventura" which I thought mean't something like luck or fortune. I don't know, any ideas?

So I did a little research, and the full name of Ventura, CA is San Buenaventura, which was named after the Spanish mission there. The mission was named after St. Bonaventure, who was Italian.

When you type "Ventura" into Spanish to English or Italian to English it translates to "fortune", but fortune in those two languages translates into "fortuna".

My school is 40% Spanish speaking, so now I'm going to ask my students since I'm curious lol.

"Ventura" is usually a word related to happiness, joy or good luck. So, you were right :)
