That is just silliness I think... I mean I can understand contouring your body if you are a drag queen or a stage performer and need to transform your body to look like someone else - I get that - but for a normal person to just do it just because... Just seems silly... And honestly I feel like contouring in general should be left for special occasions when you are going to be in front of a camera taking photos or on a stage - otherwise I really don't understand why people want to transform their natural bone structure on a daily basis to look like another person... Like it doesn't make sense to me... And I also don't understand why people STILL be "contouring" with bronzer and think it looks great! Like it drives me crazy how unnatural and not contoured it looks! But then I love watching people like jordan Liberty make videos against crazy contouring - his first one I love was "why you shouldn't contour with bronzer" great tips and visuals - then recently he did a video of a dramatic contour look that most girls on IG do these days to get nice photos that doesn't translate well in person - that one was great too - but because there is just so much hype around contouring I really just don't even want to participate in the trend due to my rebellious nature - but thanks for posting this alma - you just opened my eyes to some new silliness :P.

I agree with Lara 100%. I try not to comment on the doings of other people for I truly believe in the term "to each their own" and I really don't care that much to lol... but contouring in general, to me, is just so unnecessary to me. no matter what, it always looks like a brown line. no amount of blending discards that fact when you're face to face with someone. It only gives the illusion of chiseled, more defined, cheeks/nose/breasts in photo only. toe contouring, booty, legs?? all I have to say is why. :(

If I can be truly honest, I find contouring anything other than the face for regular wear completely stupid. this is just my opinion... I don't think people should be contouring on a daily basis anyway, and contouring your chest/abs/other body parts almost always looks unnatural and weird to me. of course, I don't think this way for photography, theater or film because these are different categories in my head. but lately, I've been really "turned off" by all these instagram videos of girls overly contouring, contouring body parts or just using stupid techniques (utensils, tape, rulers, anything you can think of basically). I feel like all these "gurus" invent new techniques to try and out-do each other, and as a young adult I find it really awkward, maybe I would have thought it was funny as a young teen... who knows. I know I'm going further than the original topic but I feel like this huge "trend" of contouring is going to far... girls (and guys) feel like they have to contour if they do makeup and that's so untrue. I have friends ask me all the time if they need to do it or what to buy... I feel like it kinda knocks down some people's confidence... anywhoooo thats just mt opinion, I try not to be a hater, but I like to see creativity rather than what's trending!

I actually breast contouring for some of clients. But I just recently saw a video of how to contour the back of your neck. Now for me I don't find use for this. I personally think its a waste. On the foot -_- won't it come off?? unless you set it... but why?? I don't know, to all thier own but it's not my cup of tea.

It was kind of a "sneak peek", I guess, as to what to main channel video is going to be about. It looks like the two of them just took cream and powder contouring products and contoured Chloe's body from about the neck down, I think,

Also, if I see someone with contoured and highlighted feet I will say something about it. Sometimes my thoughts don't filter through my brain before coming out of my mouth so I know if/when I see something as ridiculous as that I'll just blurt something out.
