So I'm looking for a night serum. I have oily acne prone skin with scarring. I'm not sure which of these two to get. Have any of you used any of these products? Thanks!!

I have the Paulas Choice resist C15 super booster 15% vit c as Rozberry had suggested it to me. I realllyyyyy love this product I know its not the same as the one you have in the pic. but I will say that the PC are great products. I've been using it for 2 weeks and my pimples scars and redness has already faded soooo much. I've seen videos about the drunk elephant and its supposed to be amazing but for me its too pricy (and I do like to spend on skincare).
the only thing is that the PC product seems to be a spot treatment and not a serum for the whole face.
just thought I'd share my experience, I am by no means an expert in this department

Thanks Lara! Super helpful!! :) and yes the drunk elephant is freakin pricey! Is the one you use from Paula's Choice a serum? I read good reviews on this one for exactly fading my scars but I think I would also like a serum too

The one I use is a serum but its liquidy (the only way I can describe it), not the typical serum consistency. I'm sure that product is amazing too, I switched my skincare and use a lot of her products and they are all amazing tbh.

I've also used that Paula's choice vitamin c serum on my scars and paired it with her 2% BHA exfoliant and they worked great on my acne scars / you can look at the progress in the photos on my profile - just don't forget to wear SPF every day or the vitamin c serum will not work properly.

And I just saw your comment on my profile too :P well I have used a sample of this product in the photo you're showing and honestly I didn't have enough to really notice a difference - but with her vitamin c serum I noticed a difference within 2 weeks of using it and after 2 months of using it twice a day my acne scars were extremely diminished

Diana how exactly did paired it? I know the BHA you have to apply it with a cotton pad

No I used the gel BHA so I would cleanse with their clear skin cleanser then tone and use the BHA gel - then use the vitamin c serum over it only on my scars then follow with one of their SPF lotions - I would make sure the gel sunk in before using the serum and also made sure the serum dried before using the SPF

Thanks Diana!! Super helpful! So the vitamin C you are taking about is the one in an orange bottle? I've been looking at their products but honestly I'm confused with the long names lol I currently have a Peter Thomas Roth BHA 2% cleanser but it really dries up my skin. I think I might get this spot treatment and pair it with the vitamin c booster :)

Wow this seems like a really useful thread I'm on the same boat here, acne, oily prone skin😕 do you girls know if they ship worldwide?
Apr 14, 2016
Diana T.
I think they do because they ship to international APO boxes - like I'm in Germany and they shipped to me - but it might be extra for international shipping - you can also buy their products on drugstore.com and ULTA so you can check them if the Paula's choice website doesn't do it - but yes the one in the orange bottle is what worked for me - and if you get confused they do have a guide on their website you can get more details on the differences between their BHAs and AHAs and what not - if a BHA is too harsh I would switch to an AHA because it's more gentle but basically does the same thing - which is exfoliate - and also maybe use it less often because you don't need to exfoliate daily if you find your skin is too sensitive for it.

Drugstore.com is banned in UAE 😩 and we don't have ULTA. awwe this sucks 😭

Well honestly you don't have to use this brand - any vitamin c serum will do - just look at the active ingredients make sure it has at least 10-15% ascorbic acid and it should work the same - a BHA you can find anywhere because it's salicylic acid and AHA is glycolic acid - any brand will do :)
