Okay girl sounds like its time to reevaluate your skin routine. Based off the information you have oily and acneprone skin I would use Yes To Tomatoes Charcial facial cleanser with a Konjac sponge. You can get konjac sponges on Amazon for around $6-10 or at Ulta for $18. This will purify your skin and gentle exfoliate it. Next use a toner. Don't use something with alcohol in it because it will just irritate your acne more. Mario Badescu has a cooling cucumber toner, you should check it out :) Next you wanna use a serum or essence. This might sound odd but you just try a Snail serum. Mizon has one of amazon for $10 and Benton has a Snail and Bee venom essence for about $10 as well. It will do wonders and repairjng your complexion. Next...moisturize. I recommend Mario Badescu's Ceramide and AHA lotion or Yes To Tomatoes Daily Balancing Lotion. Good luck.

Hey! thank you for your recommendations but I can't get any of these products locally :-/ I will have to order online which would not only cost a bomb but take over a month to reach me..and I need clear skin in 2 weeks for some family events.
I used a moisturizing face wash today and they have seemed to calm down A LOT! in like one go so maybe I am over drying my skin? I don't use moisturizers and I use all products for oily skin..
I use ponds face wash with salicylic acid, soap and glory's peaches and clean and soap clarity wash..soap and glory scrub your nose in it and its face polish...masks I use Freeman's chocolate one and lemon and mint one...even DIY stuff I use everything for oily skin from clay to lemon juice..toner I use on and off The Body Shop's seaweed clarifying toner..it's alcohol free...but I did used to use Clean and Clear's blackhead one when I first broke out...

If they go away on their own within a few hours of appearing... I'm not sure it can be acne? Acne usually just doesn't go away within a few hours and come back and so on. Usually just stays for at least a few days
If it itches, do you think it could be a reaction to something? My daughter is allergic and when she gets breakouts she gets tiny bumps everywhere face torso legs... If it gets infected it starts to have white pus.
Do you think you are allergic to something?
Mar 16, 2016
Rida S.
Nope I am not allergic to anything...not that I know of..maybe its some mild allergy...they are 80% gone now from the time I posted this thread and to now...and this keeps happening...

Rida S.
And it doesn't itches like scratchy itch...a mild irritation...

I think its due to dryness..
because when they first appeared the weather had gone extremely dry and I kept using oily skin products...and today when I washed my face with a creamy face wash they died down and now they are like mildly visible..I can barely feel them under my fingers...in the morning I could feel ridges when I touched my face

Just because you have oily skin, you still need to moisturize. I recommend using a gentle moisturizer like CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. As far as the bumps go, I recommend you try Bosica, Murad, Orgins, or Philosophy acne lines.

I will look for CeraVe...meanwhile I have Nature Republic's Argan Oil moisturizer at hand...I will start using that..
thank you!

Oh I didnt realize you mentiined that they come and go. I think it is an allergix reaction to a siincare product you are currently using.

Rida, the Badescu Cucumber or the Say Yes Charcoal Cleanser both contain drying forms of alcohol; this will irritate your acne, not to mention the perfume added isn't beneficial for your irritated skin.
I'd wash with CeraVe and apply Paula's Choice Salicylic Toner and her BHA lotion. This will get your skin's pH on track and her BHA will chemically exfoliate your skin to tackle acne.
I'd follow with CeraVe AM for sunscreen, which is a must with BHA, and CeraVe PM at night. The Niacinamide will help calm and heal skin. Hyaluronic Acid will draw moisture and help hydrate your skin while never being heavy or oily. The PM is inexpensive option. Coupons on their website.
I'd also use green tea bags to make a soothing splash and to refresh the face.
At night, use a calming toner, such as Paula's Choice. I'd be use to pat face with an all cotton washcloth, give Aztec Clay a try if you want a weekly treatment, and use an all cotton pillowcase changed every 3rd day.
You can get samples of Paula's Choice on her website if you want to try her products.

Oh..O just read they go away after a few hours!! Livi is right. This seems like Dermatitis.
Ignore my previous suggestion of BHA. I'd still use the CeraVe formulas and the Paula's Calming toner, cotton, pillowcase, green tea, etc.
You should pull back on scented products, alcohol, scrubbing/physical exfoliants. You can apply some greek yogurt or sour cream to reduce itch and sooth skin.

I'd see a derm as soon as you can though.

What you can do is put green tea in a spray bottle and use that as a face mist throughout the day.

I agree. I use Green Tea every day. All teas are not alike. look for leaves from Japan, such as Teavana.

Oh wow thank you for all the suggestions! I am going to start the green tea thing right now and look for CeraVe and Paula's choice products..Thank you so much guys!

Since I think this may be dermatitis, (you said it comes and goes) I'd try to keep a journal of what foods or products you use make the skin break out.
I think for now, aside from a trip to the derm, is to skip the BHA and get a calming toner and pair it with CeraVe PM, and the green tea rinse or a Greek yogurt mask. The BHA would be more for if this wasn't a reaction..if you had these bumps all the time as acne.
It could be something you are eating, a hairspray, change in detergent, something you come in contact with or drank...try and look for triggers.
This toner is very gentle..alcohol and witch hazel free and it just helps the skin repair itself and rest.

A mask of oatmeal and jojoba oil or evening primrose oil made into a paste should also soothe your skin. I hope you do decide to see a derm though.

I have acne on my forehead too. I've found that moisturizing has helped a lot. However it could be an allergy as a few have said. Wash face 2x a day and moisturize with a fragrance free moisturizer.

Yeah I have started using a moisturizer..thank you! :)
